Amauta Absoluto Malbec 2019

Amauta Absoluto Malbec 2019

£10.50

From family run producer El Porvenir de Cafayate, based in Northern Argentina in the Valle de Cafayate where their vineyards are seriously high altitude, at around 1900 meters above sea level (some of the highest in the world). The Malbec if from older vines, aged between 40-50 years old, and along with the altitude produces exquisite quality fruit. The combination of high altitude, cold nights and warm sunny days means the fruit is beautifully balanced and creates rich, full reds without being jammy.

Country: Argentina
Region: Valle de Uco
Grape: Malbec

Made with hand-picked fruit, this high altitude Malbec is stunning value for money. A proper, rich and full bodied Malbec, but with perfect balance and not overly jammy like some can be from the more famous Mendoza region. A must with grilled meats of course!
